Synchronicity Creates Web-Based Customer Support System for inSilicon With IP Gear
SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 5, 2001--Synchronicity,
Inc. today announced that inSilicon Corporation (Nasdaq:INSN) is
incorporating Synchronicity's IP Gear into their web-based customer
collaboration system to deliver and support their semiconductor
intellectual property (SIP) platforms and system software.
The IP Gear HelpDesk provides inSilicon's SIP customers with the
ability to submit questions report problems and receive assistance. IP
Gear HelpDesk's functionality includes:
- Integrated Knowledge Base to enable Self Help
- Integration with IP Gear Catalog and Delivery System
- Automatic Routing of HelpDesk Tickets, through primary and
secondary levels of support personnel for example
- Access Control on Views and Editing
- Reminders on outstanding support actions
- Management reports on support activities and status
